It’s hard to imagine my life without curling. I’ve met so many great people. I have traveled to many small towns and large cities in North America and Europe. Not many people have that opportunity while playing a sport they love.
I would be a competitive free-style Snowboarder living in British Columbia. I’m sure I’d own a couple of chalets to be rented to vacationers. My summers would be spent in Alberta playing golf.
Winning the Canadian Junior Championship in 1998. Another great moment was the 2002 Brier final in Calgary. Although we lost the final to Ferby there is nothing like being on the ice when 17,000 people are doing the wave around you.
Grindewald, Switzerland; Playing with John Morris in juniors we won the TCA trip to Switzerland where we played “open air curling” their term for outdoor curling. The ice was horribly heavy. We had to shovel snow off the ice after each end but it was still a great time.

Definitely NOT me. I think Glenn is usually in charge, however, Rich has this way of making it seem like it’s your decision but in reality it is what he really wants. Pretty sneaky.
My Grandpa Savill and Aunt Jarron.
We have to get rid of the “old man” image. Show more high quality curling events on Television.
I think our greatest strength is that we get along so well together on and off the ice.
No weaknesses that I will tell you about.
My parents got me involved as is the case with most curlers. My Dad was the junior coordinator at the Navy Curling Club in Ottawa. After resisting for half the season I agreed to curl in the family bonspiel. I’ve been hooked ever since… That and my hockey career ending injury.
Ha, Ha, Ha…this all depends on who I’m playing with and if we’re playing for money. My handicap can range anywhere from 10-25. If you saw me play at the Old Course at St. Andrews you would think I was a 8, but if you saw me at Carnoustie, you would think I was a 25.
Snowboarding!
GO SENS GO! I still think this NHL lockout is a conspiracy against the Sens. This was their year.
